The Polish Investment and Trade Agency has launched another of its Regional Trade Offices. The branch in Lublin was officially opened by the Minister of Development and Technology, Krzysztof Hetman, President of the PAIH Management Board, Andrzej Dycha, and Lublin Mayor, Krzysztof Żuk. The office will provide support for Polish businesses from across the province and assist them in their dealings with Ukraine.
The regional offices were established in response to the needs of Polish businesses throughout the country. The location of the next branch in the Lublin region will provide support for entrepreneurs from Eastern Poland, including in establishing business relations in Ukraine. The opening of the PAIH Regional Trade Office in Lublin was also attended by numerous representatives from local businesses and support institutions.
Opening up to Polish entrepreneurs, removing barriers for businesses, and aiding in their development are top priorities for me as Minister of Development and Technology. The establishment of the PAIH Regional Trade Office in Lublin is a response to the needs of Lublin entrepreneurs. It offers tangible support for those looking to expand into international markets, as well as for those wishing to grow their businesses in the Lublin province. The PAIH office will also work towards attracting new investments to the region. Collaboration with local economic organizations, educational initiatives, and information about foreign and local markets are invaluable aids for entrepreneurs thinking globally about their businesses. I am pleased that Lublin is joining the regions that, through PAIH, can more effectively support companies, said Minister Krzysztof Hetman.
The President of PAIH emphasized that companies from the Lublin province have significant expansion potential and to fully utilize it, the Agency must operate closely with them. He added that the activities of the regional office will enable more effective outreach to entrepreneurs and local business support institutions with PAIH offerings, including support in the process of international expansion and attracting foreign investors.
We are reaching out to local businesses ready for further development. Lublin and the entire province gain a point where they can acquire knowledge, establish relationships, and receive the support necessary for effective expansion. The Polish economy has seen unprecedented economic development in recent decades. To sustain this trend, we are establishing regional offices to encourage contact and thereby support the international development of local companies, said PAIH President Andrzej Dycha.
Participating in the opening, Lublin Mayor Krzysztof Żuk emphasized that internationalization of businesses is a natural path for every company’s development. He pointed to the PAIH regional office as a place where they can receive the necessary support for rapid and effective expansion into foreign markets and for acquiring foreign partners.
Lublin has very good conditions to become a hub for export and business to Eastern markets, especially the Ukrainian market. This is supported by the development of transportation infrastructure and the increasing competitiveness of local businesses. The establishment of new government institutions in Lublin, such as the Regional Trade Office of PAIH opened today, is a natural step strengthening our economic position, as well as confirming the consistent implementation of the Lublin 2030 Strategy in the context of developing Lublin’s metropolitan functions, said Lublin Mayor Krzysztof Żuk.
PAIH’s experts, who presented opportunities for cooperation to the entrepreneurs present at the conference and provided detailed information on the Agency’s areas of activity, participated in the event. The PAIH Regional Trade Office in Lublin is located at 2 Spokojna Street and operates from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
